med Grønne Guider som eksempelwith examples from the Danish 'Green Guide' scheme
The focus of this chapter is a new kind of mediating agency. Based on the evaluation of the Danish 'Green Guide' scheme different approaches to this kind of agency is presented and discussed in relation to the potentials for support to local schools as agent on the local arena. Even though the green guides very often copied the traditional role of experts they also at some places and in some situations developed new mediating roles as 'networkers' and 'free players'. This is in good accordance with general trends (governance in modern network societies). However, beside the potentials there is a need for a critical look at how power is constructed in these new types of support to parcipatory policy making.
