Cultural conflicts and clashes have often been described and analyzed through the work of Geert Hofstede. Actions and reaction, however, cannot always be approached through the concept of static dimensions of cultural differences. This paper describes a situation that led to the creation of mutual resentment between Danish and English dairy employees. The clashes developed through dynamic interaction changing the usually described cultural patterns of interaction. This development was triggered not only by cultural differences but also by the struggle for resources and recognition of skills and working practices in a changing environment.
