the existential dimension of phronesis and clinical supervision of nurses
This research article investigate the use of the concept of Phronesis in contemporary educational research and it present five different approaches. Especially Hubert Dreyfus and his new competence theoty with a sixth and seventh level of competence is critical examined in light of Heidegger's and Arendt's view on Phronesis. Socratic guidance praciticies [Philosophical Counselling] is suggested as ways of training nurses in clinical supervision.
