We present a method for enclosing the solution of an integral equation. It is assumed that a solution exists and that the corresponding integral operator T is a contraction near y. When solving the integral equation by iteration we obtain a result which is normally different from y because of roundoff errors, truncation errors, and the fact that we only do a finite number of iterations. The purpose of this method is to find a narrow interval of functions that is guaranteed to contain y.
